Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information H-Kidz collects when you use our website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Who we are
H-Kidz is an online children's clothing store operating in Nigeria. In this policy, “H-Kidz”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the business responsible for this website and the personal information collected through it.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and account details;
- order, payment-status, delivery, return, and customer-support information;
- products saved to your cart or wishlist and preferences you submit;
- sizing or measurement information you choose to provide for a child;
- newsletter subscriptions and messages sent through our contact channels; and
- device, browser, IP address, cookie, and website-usage information.
Please provide only the child information needed for sizing or fulfilling an order. A parent or guardian should submit information about a child; children should not create accounts or send personal information directly to us.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and manage accounts, carts, wishlists, orders, payments, and deliveries;
- provide sizing, product, and customer-support assistance;
- send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications;
- prevent fraud, secure the website, diagnose errors, and improve our services; and
- meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We process information where it is needed to provide a requested service, comply with law, pursue a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights, or where you have given consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Payments and service providers
Online payments are handled by Paystack. Payment-card details are entered into the payment provider's secure service rather than stored by H-Kidz; we receive transaction details such as payment status and reference. We may also share only the information needed with delivery providers, hosting and security providers, analytics and advertising services (including Meta Pixel when enabled), and professional advisers.
These providers process information for their stated service or under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technology
The website may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technology to keep you signed in, remember cart or preference information, operate essential features, understand site use, and measure advertising. You can restrict cookies in your browser, although parts of the website may then work differently. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technology, we will request it before use.
Retention, security, and transfers
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute requirements. Retention periods differ by record type. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Some service providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take appropriate steps required by applicable data-protection law to protect the transfer.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of marketing. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
